Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who was undergoing treatment for coronavirus, says he has tested negative on Friday. Taking to Twitter, 55-year-old Shah said, "Today my corona test report has come negative.
I thank God and at the moment I express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have blessed me and my family by wishing me well. Will stay in home isolation for a few more days on the advice of doctors."
He further thanked all the caregivers of the private hospital where he was undergoing treatment. "I also thank all the doctors and paramedical staff of Medanta Hospital who have helped me in fighting Corona infection and who have been treating me."
Shah had contracted the virus on 2nd August, days before he was scheduled to attend the Bhoomi Pujan for the Ram Temple at Ayodhya. He was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.
